LLC Skip Trace: find the people behind any LLC

An LLC skip trace searches a company name and selected state for people associated with that entity in third-party records. It may return managers, members, officers or a registered agent, but does not verify ownership or guarantee a result. A separate free inventory count matches recorded owner names.

How it works

  1. Enter the exact company name and its state of formation.
  2. Sign in, acknowledge permitted use, and check your included or purchased lookup credits.
  3. Review the cost, accept permitted use, and confirm the run yourself.

What you get

  • Up to five ranked people, filed roles, business addresses, phones with Do Not Call badges and emails when available
  • TCPA-flagged contacts hidden; registered agents appear last and are never Best Contact

Frequently asked questions

Does an LLC skip trace tell me who owns the company?

Not conclusively. It may return people associated with the entity, such as managers, members, officers and registered agents. These are possible associations, not verified ownership; a validated record may contain only a registered agent.

What is a registered agent, and are they the owner?

A registered agent receives legal papers for the company. It is a service role and is frequently a commercial agent with no ownership interest.

Who may use these results?

Use them only to identify and contact the people who manage or control a business entity that owns, or is a party to, a real estate transaction you are pursuing or evaluating, about that transaction. They are not for credit, insurance, employment, housing or tenancy decisions, debt collection, legal process, unrelated marketing or bulk lists.

Do you guarantee the contacts are current or compliant?

No. Records can be stale, and you remain responsible for complying with telephone, email and privacy laws.

How many credits does each search use?

Lookup credits pay for searches. Standard uses 1 credit per hit. Enhanced uses 2 credits per hit, or 1 additional credit after a paid Standard result. Business / LLC uses 2 credits per validated business-record hit. Business / LLC costs the same as a new Enhanced trace but runs different, company-focused research. A registered-agent-only business hit still uses 2 credits; an agent is not necessarily an owner. A hit does not prove an owner was found, and address history does not verify ownership. Misses and errors use no credits. The exact credit cost is shown before you confirm a trace. The name-matched inventory count is free, and authorized reopening costs nothing. Use included credits or purchased credit packs; paid membership is not required to purchase a pack. You must explicitly confirm the final run.

Can you identify hidden Delaware or Wyoming owners?

No guarantee is made. Delaware's free search primarily gives entity and registered-agent details; Wyoming filings may identify an organizer or agent rather than an owner. Third-party associations may be absent or incomplete and do not verify hidden beneficial owners.
